Bundy commented “I am very excited to wear the Hammerheads jersey again. This season will be one of the most competitive to date and I am every excited to play along side other veteran players as well as the new young talent. We are all coming together for the soul purpose to bring another championship back to Wilmington.”

 

Prior to his stint with the Hammerheads Bundy played for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1999-2003. He also spent time playing for the Carolina Dynamo of the USL Premier Development League and the Dallas Sidekicks of the MISL.

 

Bundy is currently a Director of Coaching for Cape Fear Soccer Association as well as on the North Carolina ODP staff.

 

Hammerheads Head Coach David Irving stated “I am excited to have Kenny back for the 2009 season. I believe that Kenny gives us the experience and leadership we need to be successful. He will be a great addition to the 2009 team.”
