The Hammerheads have added midfielder Ryan Solle and forward Phil Hufstader to the 2009 squad pending USL and USSF approval. 
Ryan Solle joins the Hammerheads after being with the Carolina Railhawks of the USL First Division last season where he made 19 appearances. Solle was drafted in the second round of the 2007 MLS Super Draft by the New England Revolution. Solle also played at Wake Forest University from 2003-2006 where he finished 2nd on the career assist list.
Phil Hufstader returns to the Hammerheads after a two season absence. Hufstader is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and was a member of the 2005 and 2006 Hammerheads teams. He is currently a Director of Coaching with Cape Fear Soccer Association.
The Hammerheads return to the field this Friday night, June 5th, at 7:00pm when they host the Bermuda Hogges at Legion Stadium.
