The Hammerheads are set to face the Real Maryland Monarchs on Sunday afternoon in Maryland. This game is set to kick off at 4:00pm at Richard Montgomery High School. 
This game will be the first of three scheduled matches between the two teams during the 2009 regular season. This will also be the first time Monarchs Head Coach Anthony Hudson will face his old team. Hudson was an assistant with the Hammerheads during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
The Hammerheads are coming off a big win in the Open Cup Tuesday night at the Railhawks and are looking to use that momentum to guide them in the upcoming game. The Hammerheads currently stand in 5th place in the USL Second Division standings with a record of 4-3-2 and 14 points and the Monarchs are right above them tied for 3rd place with a score of 5-4-0 and 15 points.
The Hammerheads will return to Legion Stadium on Saturday June 27
th when they host the Harrisburg City Islanders at 7:00pm. The Hammerheads will then host the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer on Tuesday June 30
th at Legion Stadium in the third round of the Open Cup. Tickets for both of these games are on sale via
