The Wilmington Hammerheads are coming off a three game road trip in which they won their last two matches, including a thrilling 4-3 victory in PK’s over the Carolina Railhawks last Tuesday. They also took care of Real Maryland 3-0 over the weekend and are ready to defend their home field with a six game home stand coming up. 
First on the schedule are the Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday, who are currently first place in USL2 standings. Harrisburg is 7-2-1 in USL-2 league play with 22 points. Wilmington is currently tied for third place with 17 points and a 5-3-2 record in the USL2 standings. Saturday’s match will be the first time Wilmington and Harrisburg have faced off this season. With two of the top teams in USL-2 going at it, this game is without question the game of the week in the league.
